University College Plymouth St Mark & St John

Plymouth Marjon Netball Club was formed in August 2007.

The club has achieved several sporting successes and currently have a squad in the NSW Premier Regional League 1 having gained promotion from MSW Regional League 2 in the 208/9 season. The Under 16 squad compete in the West Devon County League to qualify for the U16 Regional League along with the Under 14s who compete to qualify for the NSW U14 Festival held each season.

Currently the Club has five senior ladies teams and seven junior teams, catering for all ages and abilities from Hi 5s (primary children) through to adults. All teams play in the local Plymouth & District Netball League at both senior and junior level. Junior matches are played at The Mayflower Leisure Centre on Monday evenings and Senior Matches are played at The Mayflower Leisure Centre on weekday evenings.
The Regional side, Plymouth Marjon Saints, play their home fixtures at UCP Marjon on Sundays between September and April.

Plymouth Marjon are an England Netball Silver CAPS accredited club and also hold the Sports England Clubmark.  The club is currently working towards their Gold Cap Accreditation.

Our coaching staff at the club, have a range of experience from grass roots, to International Level. Our current Head Coach  Denise Ellis has been involved at International Level for the past  10 years and has coached the Welsh National Squad at the recent World Championships in New Zealand  in 2007. Denise Ellis is currently is the NSW Regional Development Coach for Devon and  Somerset and is involved with the England Excel Programme for elite athletes. She bis also the Team Bath NTL Head Coach.

The Plymouth Marjon  Netball Club, strongly believe in being fair to everyone who belongs to the club or has any contact with the club.  Our Constitution makes our beliefs and values clear.
