The third year speech and language therapy programme comprises two clinical experiences. The first in Term 1 runs for one day per week over 10 weeks and is an inter-professional placement learning experience (CP3a). The final placement (CP3b) is a 7-week block and provides students with opportunities to assess and manage cases; identify aims, plan and implement assessment and intervention techniques based upon clear rationale.
