- Due to the complexities of the benefit system and individual circumstances we are unable to give advice and guidance. However, information can be found at Direct Gov, Citizens Advice Bureau or at your local Jobcentre Plus.
Debt:
- Worried about money while studying? Seek free expert debt help from the national debt charity, Consumer Credit Counselling Service. Their Student Debt Advice Guide is a valuable source of advice to help keep you free from problem debt at university. If you think you already have a debt problem, then Debt Remedy can provide a budget based solution without the need to register any personal details in just 20 minutes. More information on debt can also be found on the Direct Gov website.
The National Scholarship Programme:
- A government programme designed to benefit students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are new to higher education from autumn 2012.
