BA (Hons) Management and Applied Business Communication
Introduction
This progression route has been designed to cater for the demand by students who have completed three years of higher education study through advanced and higher diploma programmes and HND’s in their home country and wish to add value to their qualifications by completing their final year studies in the UK and converting their existing qualifications into an Honours level degree. A valuable aspect of the programme is the opportunity for students to engage in a work based independent study project that will combine work related experience in a UK business with an assessed research project.

Entry Requirements
Foundation Degree or HND in the area of Business and Management or an alternative programme of study in equivalent level and content to the first two years of Bachelor degree i.e. levels 4 and 5.
International applicants require a level of proficiency in English language equivalent to level 6.0 in IELTS. Applicants with lower IELTS level can complete Academic English Preparation Course.
Module Information
The main focus is on the acquisition of management concepts and tools, subject disciplines underpinning management studies and knowledge of the business environment in cross-cultural contexts. A study project will provide students with the opportunity to engage in a live case study and in problem solving skills. At the same time you will be developing more sophisticated skills in the use of English for professional purposes.
